Absolutely, sorry - been a little busy lately.
For reference, I can reproduce this bug a fresh prefix, and by simply executing "wine XVIIx86.exe" from the application directory.
Wonderful, that should make it easy for me to investigate. If that patch is the problem then it's unlikely to be the other things we talked about (possible path interpretation issues) but I'll take a look as soon as I can. Worst case is we stop reporting unix symlinks as NT symlinks, and that's not a terrible worst case.
