It tries to read from 0x3DA VGA port. I wonder to known why it is not trapped by the dos VM.
VGA emulation was removed by 33b2d8521c916e1d5c9201adc8e52507bedb7d26 (Wine 3.1). Appdb suggests that some user-made game patch might help.
