Sure, I'll see what I can do to give you the actual error message in
Wine-0.9.54.

I never heard of HX DOS Extender myself until yesterday which creates a minimal
win32 enviornment in DOS.

I decided to try out to try copying their DLLs to Wine's windows/systems folder
with this shocking effect.

After a bit of googling, these guys don't seem to mind using Wine DLLs to add
functionality to HX DOS Extender, and seems to be some kind of open
soursource/freeware project as the DRDOS/OPENDOS Enhancement project is using
it.
