Have you removed ~/.wine directory? The message says win2k. Wine by default using WinXP version now. Please attach complete terminal output (as a text file) when installing on removed ~/.wine directory.
I did, and checking now, it seems that if I remove the .reg files and then run winecfg, it says Windows 2000. What's with that? :\
I just manually set it to Windows XP and tried again: same error dialogue, but it says Windows XP in place of Windows 2000, etc.
