[Bug 16641] Call of Duty 4 - Depth of field and soften smoke edges broken

Also, with depth of field turned on and night goggles on, the screen fills with
white.

I tried soften smoke edges, and the whole screen gradually turns white (in
puffs of smoke...). As well, whenever you turn soften smoke edges on or off and
then exit options, the game crashes and the display stays black (you can
alt-tab to show other apps are running, but screen goes black when you release
alt-tab). So you have to kill X and restart.
