It is a debugger, and some applications do not expect to run under one. It is for specialized use (i.e., debugging).
- Does starting from destination folder gives some benefits and name some?
I do not have anything against it but would like to know why. :D

Some applications expect the current working directory to be the same as the directory they reside in. Not doing so can lead to unexpected behavior, i.e., crashes/etc.
