I tested it both with native dinput, dinput8 dlls and builtin variants.
And what was the result?
Changing from builtin to native and vice-versa didn't have any effect on mouse input. It was simply like no mouse was attached at all.
That's for ingame of course. In the control settings menu of the game mouse events are registered, so that I can change the action assigned to MOUSE1 and MOUSE2.
Could a trace help to isolate the problem? I can also ask someone else with access to the game to verify it on different hardware.
