I use the non-free nvidia drivers (my video card is ancient...a GeForce2/400MX is how it reads on Linux, but reads as a GeForce3/400MX on Windows...the labels on the card are too heat-worn so I really don't know.) and other than making use of graphics accelleration I'm not sure what other effects they'd have.
I'll attach another log later today when I get the chance. There were two ways I tried running the program: installing it with ies4linux, then running it with such (I put down what I did in RealOne's HOWTO), which crashed it, and then tried again by installing it and running it normally, which crashed it too once Gecko was installed. I forget how I ran the program when I produced the attached log, so I'll try both ways and put up the different log in the attachment.
