Patrakov patrakov@gmail.com 2012-08-14 00:31:00 CDT --- I'd like to add to the text that is possible to set 44100 Hz sample rate and 64 secondary buffers via the in-game settings in Darwinia Demo (instead of the debugging patch referenced in my e-mail but never sent to any list). The 5-year-old CPU can still handle that load without hiccups. So it looks like there is something special in the games affected by this bug that makes the time budget for the resampler significantly less than "100% of one core". Locking issues?
