I tried that, write down the steps.

$ sudo dnf remove wine-desktop
$ sudo dnf config-manager --add-repo
https://dl.winehq.org/wine-builds/fedora/31/winehq.repo
$ sudo dnf install winehq-stable
$ wine --version
wine-5.0
$ wine .wine/drive_c/Program\ Files\ (x86)/SquareEnix/FINAL\ FANTASY\ XIV\ -\
A\ Realm\ Reborn/boot/ffxivboot.exe
(a dialog of wine mono installer appears, ignore it, log in to the game)

The issue still exist. I can turn off manually, but I expect it to be turn off
automatically.
