[Bug 56548] reMarkable app throws exception in 9.6 but worked in 9.5

For me the current reMarkable Desktop (3.10.0.845) doesn't even work on devel
9.5 and Ubuntu 20.04 (see my Backtrace attached).
What I did:
1. First installed an older version of the app (3.6.0.761) but it has been
immediately updated to 3.10.0.845. I could then login into the app and use it
to create a new notebook.
2. But when starting the app next time it crashed. And still crashes on every
start :-(

@Maximilian: which version exactly could you run on devel 9.5 on your machine ?
