I closed the menu and the loading continued. I opened the menu again and this time the UI froze while the menu was open and the 3d view was broken too. I waited two minutes but no additional messages appeared in the console. While the menu window remains above all windows (even this browser window) the complete terrain editor window does no longer redraw itself.
Now after about 5 minutes I have checked the window again, still no additional messages.
