Don't let Vitaliy get to you. If you think you can fix it, please give it a try.
I will, if I get the time. It takes some time to learn the enviroments...and get my head around GIT, of course.. :-)
While Photoshop, et al are important, it's a lot of work to get working.
Maybe I am wrong, but to me it doesn't seem as it is. Moved installations have reached gold status and installations has been known to succeed.
It still isn't however, a lot of applications.
Rigid bug classification systems are great to an extent, i'll leave it at that.. :-)
Wine strives to get _all_ applications to work. Many of those 'age-old crap' applications are old proprietary business applications that are vital for others. Everyone has a different killer app. We can't fix them all at once, so some people luck out if their application gets supported first.
Yeah, I know that, but it's just so horribly frustrating to see wine fail this objective which is so crucial for a broad Linux adoption, year after year. I think that wine would attract far more contributors, thus reach it's "all-goal" far earlier if it had some of the more prestigious applications working. Maybe not 10 years ago, but now, for sure, is the time to focus for just a little while, IMHO.
Voicing your opinion is good, though bugzilla really isn't the proper place for it. Please use Bugzilla for technical discussions only.
With the exception of this message, understood.
