At the moment I'm using Wine in a Virtualbox virtual machine with default drivers from Ubuntu, but I've tested this game with several machines (on a real OS) and the bug is the same every time
It occurs with both full game and demo version
someone told me to tweak with "OffscreenRenderingMode" but it didn't change anything
