--- Comment #17 from Boort boort1@gmail.com 2010-06-08 00:49:16 --- Nikolay,
I nolonger have a copy of the old VcarvePro v4.6 installer. I was able to test with the current version as well as the full version of it's bigger brother program Aspire.
To run my tests I removed my ~/.wine configuration dir, installed wine-1.2-rc2 from the repository, ran "./winetricks corefonts tahoma liberation fontfix" to get the needed fonts, (No other winetricks installs) and installed and tested VCarvePro v5.5 Trial and Aspire v2.015. Both programs installed and were able to save Gcode without error.
I then installed the AspireV2015_to_V2503_Upgrade.exe patch on the full version of Aspire which also updates the MS Visual C++ 2005 SP1 runtime. The Patch installer reported that it completed successfully. I then created Gcode from the same project I created on the earlier version. This appears to be working.
I then installed the AspireV2503_to_V2504_Upgrade.exe. This patch reported that it installed correctly. I was then able to save and run my gcode.
In short all versions of Aspire and VcarvePro that I have access to appear to pass my simple tests!
Thank you, and the rest of the Wine Team! BoorT

I can't reproduce this problem running VCarve Pro Trial 5.504 and wine-1.2-rc2-197-ge1fd439. It produces output text file (some curves point data in text format I guess).
So retest this please. Preferably to retest with original 4.6 version to be sure it works.
P.S. I found that reverting 5d708246d79e540f40c914f1bac80e70a4d0fee7 will crash it just after pressing floppy button.
