With Wine's winmm, SoundDecompress.exe creates a file with the same format (rate, channels etc.) as native and valid data (kaffeine plays it, comment #0), right? Audacity's screenshot in attachment #24534 (comment #5) shows that it contains a subset of native's data, missing begin and end parts. Now instead of playing these shorter but correctly formed .wav files, the app plays nothing (but music, comment #8). Do these wav files contain one coherent sound or are these a concatenation of lots of different sounds?
