This bug still applies to 1.5.15. That said, many releases ago, it's behavior
changed for the better for me. Instead of the menu closing obnoxiously, the
highlighted mouse-over menu entry just gets stuck where it is, but the final
menu entry you end up clicking on does work fine if you click twice. It's as if
the menu loses mouse focus for a moment instead of closing like it did before,
and clicking back into the menu makes it focus correctly again.
