It has been tested with wine version 1.3.27. I have found the same problem with
the latest available in ubuntu repository which is 1.2.2. but its not working.

I read everywhere that wine uses cups but still not able to understand if
something interprets printing data between cups and wine. if so that could be
the place where further testings can be carried on.
