--- Comment #3 from johannes.black@gmail.com 2009-12-22 06:15:54 --- The version is
wine-bin-unstable (1.1.32-1 [amd64, i386], 1.1.29-1 [powerpc]) Windows API implementation - binary loader
At the moment, normal debian unstable amd64 bit version (debian unstable isn't 'unstable' but the packages which will come in the next relase).
Packages under
http://packages.debian.org/unstable/allpackages
It's not crashing and the err:ntdll: ... occures after some time downloading with several (10) download threads (sometimes after 3 minutes sometimes after 20 minutes) and the newsbin freezes and isn't reactive any more. The only chance is to kill the newsbin process and start over.
My system is Q6600 Quad Core, 8 GByte RAM, Radeon 3850 HD, 2.6.25-1 64 bitkernel, the filesystem isn't nonexec mounted (just a normal rootfilesystem with home directories attached). I have checked before for hardware errors (RAM, CPU, ...) with the Prime95 torture test so I most probably can exclude that external factor).
