Wine 4.3 has a new XAudio2 implementation as well as a new X3DAudio implementation (which is why everything's so loud), can this be re-tested? Note that Unreal Engine has an invalid X3DAudioCalculate parameter so a Debug version of FAudio will make that pop-up for the assertion failure, but it can be ignored.

i retested with 4.3 and the behaviour nowwith Faudio is the same like using the native dlls:
Sound is fine in the menu now, you can adjust the sound volume levels. Loading a savegame sadly leads to a complete loss of sound, Starting a new mission will have sound but without savegames that is useless.
