I have added an applet letting me to change CPU mode for each core (Powersave/Conservative/Ondemand/Performance). The default and recommended setting is Ondemand (I have Intel Core2 Duo P8600 2,4 GHz). If I switch both cores to Performance, it seems Heroes no longer crashes...
Is it this bug or should I report a different one?
