This patch should help: http://source.winehq.org/git/wine.git/?a=commit;h=2609e45c31263253d3e3c7d36f... It's already in Git.
Hmmm... Just did 'git clone git://source.winehq.org/git/wine.git wine', standard './configure', 'make depend && make'. Same problem - "Runtime error 216 at 004063C2". Trace attached.
