[Bug 46121] display issue while using geneatique

with mint 17.3 it works in 32 bits and 64 bits.
With mint 18.3, it does not even install properly in 32 bits mode, there is an
abnormal end in the program prninstaller.exe and there is some doc outputted .
The 2 issues could be related (but not necesserally), should y upload this data
?
