My GTX 760 is Detected as an 8800GTX by D3D applications, causing occasional problems when autodetecting settings or detecting maximum settings. Total War: ROME II clearly demonstrates this problem. It shows the gfx card in the options screen.

The offending source file looks to be wine/dlls/wined3d/wined3d_private.h
