--- Comment #23 from TL HereInPlainSight+wine@gmail.com --- After I moved back to the current version of ca-certs, I only added the two mentioned about in this thread. The complete Gentoo answer, which I think would work with any distro but haven't tested, including relevant links, was:
1) Download the first cert listed at https://www.thawte.com/roots/ (direct link is https://www.thawte.com/roots/thawte_Primary_Root_CA.pem ) 2) Copy the cert at https://knowledge.digicert.com/solution/SO5624 into a file. 3) Name both as .crt files. 4) Place both in /usr/local/share/ca-certificates/ (creating if necessary) 5) Ensure they're readable by all users that need them. 6) sudo update-ca-certificates
