Installation ran to completion, although the Volo View Express part of the installation did not run at all.
The installation process stuffed up the PATH variable in the system.reg file for the HKEY_LOCALE_MACHINE\System\Current Control Set\Control\Session Manager\Environment section. So I inserted "C:\Program Files\Autodesk Shared" for the PATH.
Then when trying to run the executable acad.exe, it complained that I was missing the following dlls MSVCIRT.dll and MFC42.dll, so I copied these from my Windows XP system32 directory to my wine\windows\system32 directory.
Then the executable worked, but started failing after around 2 mins. During the 2 mins I could open/save files, draw autocad objects and print.
