--- Comment #33 from Zebediah Figura z.figura12@gmail.com --- I would recommend not using wine-staging, as it's probably not going to provide any benefit, but if you do, the contents of 'staging/upstream-commit' (or `./staging/patchinstall.py --upstream-commit`) should match the tag printed by `git show --no-patch` in the wine directory.
