If you think it worked before and doesn't now - do a regression test to pinpoint the patch that broke it: http://wiki.winehq.org/RegressionTesting(In reply to comment #4)
I am sorry, being the parent of a small child I don't currently have the time to be that involved.. I am just trying to help those "in the know".
Not everyone has access to CS 4 to test it.
What ever you think priorities are is irrelevant.
Irrelevant? Oh, please don't be civil about it. Be just a little bit more inflammatory.
While Photoshop, et al are important, it's a lot of work to get working. It still isn't however, a lot of applications.
You want it to be fixed - send patches.
Send patches? Well I would like to think of my self as a quite experienced developer and would probably have done so some day if my first contact with community members wouldn't have been such a negative experience.
Don't let Vitaliy get to you. If you think you can fix it, please give it a try.
If you think this program is some how more important then
1000000s of other windows programs - keep that opinion to yourself.
Yeah, well, uh, maybe it is just me, but I happen to think that PS, one of the worlds most used business applications, is a little bit more important than the age-old crap that this project prides itself with on it's platinum list.
Wine strives to get _all_ applications to work. Many of those 'age-old crap' applications are old proprietary business applications that are vital for others. Everyone has a different killer app. We can't fix them all at once, so some people luck out if their application gets supported first.
This is actually the first time in ANY of the open source projects I have either managed or participated in, that anyone has told med to keep my opinions to myself. I have been told to voice them elsewhere, which maybe I should have, but never to keep them to myself.
Voicing your opinion is good, though bugzilla really isn't the proper place for it. Please use Bugzilla for technical discussions only.
Vitaliy, please be a bit more civil.
