--- Comment #2 from Susan Cragin susancragin@earthlink.net 2009-06-02 13:47:52 --- I have attached a screenshot. Here's what I do.
(1) When I open DNS, I get the DragonBar, which I have placed in the upper-right-hand corner. (2) Then I open a wine application to transfer text into, such as Notepad. (3) Then I use the drop-down menu in DragonBar to open DictationBox. (The buttons are invisible because of a gdiplus error, but they're there, and they work.) (4) When I have DictationBox open, I can dictate into it. The program runs fast and well, and lets me use all sorts of correction options that are not available were I to dictate directly into Notepad. But the text is tiny. (5) DictationBox has a button called Settings, which brings me to the box below, which has an option for me to Change Font. It allows me to select from a list of any font available on wine. It saves the information accurately. (My example shows me changing from Al-Arabyia to Purisa. Neither font change was accepted.) (6) Then I close it and go back to DictationBox, but DB still records in the tiny font it started with, which is called something like MShell_Dig_8.
The DictationBox's font selection is just for ease of use. When the user transfers text from DictationBox to Notepad, it only transfers the text, not the formatting. The text appears in Notepad's default font.
HTH.
