[Bug 27907] No sound

When I try Test Audio I get a window pop up with error Audio test failed! and
an OK box. I am using PulseAudio (default with Ubuntu) both ALSA and OSS are
ticked in the Audio drivers (Makes no difference if either ALSA is ticked on
its own or OSS on its own). Hardware acceleration is set to full (no change if
I select emulated either). Default Sample rate is 44100 and Default Bits Per
Sample is 16. Like Jason, I have never seen an option for mmdevapi.
