--- Comment #10 from Gerald Folcher geraldf2@free.fr 2008-01-04 18:10:39 --- I must correct something wrong I said in my previous post (it may be a bit OT though it seems it could be related):
After more testing I found that the performance related to sound problem I talked about DOES appear in fact in wine 0.9.43, only it got worse in wine 0.9.49. Previously I didn't notice the problem in wine 0.9.43 (and up to .48) but after setting a "max sounds heard" setting in GPLegends's game settings to the maximum (16, I was previously using 6) the problem became evident also in wine 0.9.43, while 0.9.42 handle that with no problem (and with good sound it seems).
It seems in Wine 0.9.49, the performance problem got worse at the same time the sound got better. Again, in Wine 0.9.42 both sound and performance was good. I will do regression testing between 0.9.42 and 0.9.43, but this time looking for the performance problem, though I'm thinking once I'm done it's probably better I post the results in a new bug report about performance affected by sound (mixing?) because it may start to be unrelated.
