Hi,
I'll try to install and use winetricks, but I have a few questions about it :
I don't find cc580 paquet in list on winetricks pages (en or fr). Is-it a new paquet ?
No, it isn't new of course. Some entries' names differs for GUI and command line usage - the last are shorter. cc580 is to be used from command line.
If I understand, winetricks helps to install some windows dll to make the program to run under wine. I don't understand here the needed, as it's already installed and run with just some ennoying crashes.
Crash could be related to this module.
It's said that after installing winetricks, it's no more possible to post a bug ... ennoying!!!
You're mixing different things here. When you try to run anything for a first time under Wine you should use clean .wine and no overrides - default setting only. Now I'm trying to guess will your problem related to our builtin comctl32 or not, that's why I'm asking for this test.
As we know than to run under wine, we must use k-meleon_w9x.exe a win 95/98 version of K-Meleon, would it be necessary and possible to set windows as 98 just for K-Meleon, and how ?
Don't know. Ask forums.
