I could reproduce the problem.
It was indeed introduced by 9b9d818252fe1a47f3ca52d028dc10d52fa33597.
Can't revert the patch on top of 7.18, but the previous commit doesn't have the
problem.

Using taskset to force the app run on a single core prevents from frequent
freezing.
To reproduce:
Run Hemeko.exe, click <Yes> in the first dialog then select '?' in the upper
menu then select 'Introduktion'.

Still present in Wine-7.18.
