I just tried it, and it works for me.  Please try with a fresh .wine - rename
it or remove it, then run wineprefixcreate, and try again.  You should end up
with the following registry values under the key
"Software\Microsoft\Cryptography\Defaults\Provider Types\Type 001":
Name: "Microsoft Base Cryptographic Provider v1.0"
TypeName: "RSA Full (Signature and Key Exchange)"

What OS/distro is this on, anyway?
