Workaround: using a no-cd "patch"

I don't really know if its a copy-protection issue, or simply the crack is more
"Wine-friendly", because there were no signs of DRM neither in the demo nor in
the GoG version. 
But here's the fact: after applying the proper no-cd "patch" both the demo and
the digital distribution version of the game began to work.
