You shouldn't be running as root, and I'm skeptical that there is a leading period in the name of the executable.
Some others:
# wine32 .mspinball.exe wine: created the configuration directory '/root/.wine' wine: chdir to /tmp/.wine-0/server-fd11-6169e : No such file or directory
Same thing. The chdir problem to me suggests a problem with Fedora's packaging of Wine.
# wine64 .mspinball.exe wine client error:0: version mismatch 392/395. Your wineserver binary was not upgraded correctly, or you have an older one somewhere in your PATH. Or maybe the wrong wineserver is still running?
This is from an clean root without any .wine folders.
You have a version-mismatched wineserver still running.
The original bug had zero information about the nature of the problem, and your problem is something else entirely. I'll mark this invalid; the reporter has had plenty of time to provide the requested information.
