There have been no patches/commits whatsoever to add support for joysticks via
winmm for Mac OS X (nor have the Linux winmm/directinput joystick drivers been
merged by making underlying changes to wine that enables it to share the
joystick driver code for both programming models), so I can't imagine that it
would suddenly automagically work.

I'm not the one with programs that use winmm for joystick support though, so
I'll leave it up to others to test.
