Fixed by commit bbd8706e731bfb3c07c66275c7cabfcfcebd74fb .

Now with `winetricks gdiplus`, the Open dialog does show. I don't have any
files in the supported formats to check if it actually works. The installer
problems are mentioned in bug #6160, but that bug report concentrates on the
program not starting at all, so it may be good to have a distinct report about
it.
