The installer had some crash, but also the game seem to have regressed. Can't even start it with 1.7.50(git).
What version of the game are you using? I can try out the GOG version of the game as it had an engine update to NewDark 2.45 recently, perhaps that will help?
I don't have this game, I can only try versions that are linked here. Most likely tried the one linked into url field.
