Simeon: Maybe a basic request is in order. What is the name of the program you are having problems with? I am very interested in any riched problems that are solved by installing native riched. Also, is either a demo version, test, or trial version available for download, from the producer or a legal distributor? Having the program available allows others to assist in troubleshooting efforts.
Here we have a problem...I think. I'm from Greece and the program which had a problem was a Greek dictionary, the name of which is Μείζον Ελληνικό Λεξικό (Great Greek Dictionary).
http://www.e-shop.gr/show_bks.phtml?id=BKS.0331100 (Orthographic, explanatory, etymological .... The dictionary is precious for everybody for the understanding and writh use of the words of the Greek Language
Accompany-staff: CD-ROM )
So I don't have something to give you. The only thing I have found is
http://rapidshare.com/files/54763716/mel_by_silver.zip
which is the dictionary but I don't know if it's legal. I suppose not.
Also, as Austin English remarked, there are no riched errors in the log which leads us to think that the problem is elsewhere in Wine's code. This should not be true if you ran the command provided by Austin. Thank you James McKenzie
I think I have attached the correct file now. Though when I ran WINEDLLOVERRIDES="riched20=b" WINEDEBUG=+richedit wine mel.exe &> /tmp/log.txt, after I had removed first the richedit library, I still had the same problem. So I don't know if I have helped you.
