[Bug 10070] Half Life 2 crashes when entering the tunnel at the beginning of black messa east

I've just switched back to 0.9.46 to play through this section and found that
it stops just before you are scanned - in which there is a red lazer scaning
lighting effect - so this could be a resurrection of the issue I was having
with red lighting effects prior to version 0.9.46. See bug 9751
