Start winecfg with your normal user account in a command line.
Click "libraries", insert the word winegstreamer into the box "New override for library:" and click "Add". Then click on "Edit", "Disable", "OK". Then click "Apply" and you're done. You can also do it for single applications only by adding the desired application under "Applications", selecting it there and following the same instructions from above.
