After my units kill the slave master (the orc boss), there's a quick cut-scene with the villagers and Prince Fabio (I mean Arthas).
Technically that's not a movie. I thought you meant one of the pre-drawn cinematics.

I forgot to add: because my screen res is 1280x800, I need to emulate a virtual desktop in wine to run WC3, otherwise the image is garbled. (Incidentally, if anyone knows a way around this, I'd love to hear it.)
Do you have the game set up to use exactly that resolution and nothing else?
There is no 1280x800 resolution available in WC3, so I use 1024x768, and that's the size my virtual desktop is set to.
You can set war3's res to whatever you want it to. Open up a terminal, type 'regedit' and then from there go to 'current_user' > software > Blizzard > war3
video, and then notice the settings that say either 'resheight' or
'reswidth'. Set those to 1280 and 800. Make sure the numbers are in dec, not hex.
