I tried installing with Windows 7, which is probably the lowest version NatSpeak 13.0 will run with. (Vista is too low.)
The installation went well. I used to have to install DOTNET 4.5 but now it installs just mono, with this message.
wine: Install Mono for Windows to run .NET applications.
I installed every likely package with the words Microsoft and mono in them.
RESULTS: Now it crashes earlier.
Then I reinstalled with the mono packages already on my system.
Crash.
I'm missing mono packages?
I'm wondering if the solution isn't something simple. For instance, it's a 32-bit program running on a 64-bit machine. Could I be missing the right 32-bit mono libraries?
Later if you wish I'll install DOTNET4.5 and see if it runs that way.
This is finals week for me (and I'm the teacher) so I may not be able to respond right away. I can do simple tests.
