Ok not sure what you mean by "upstream vkd3d", but I have tried every release
of vkd3d from the git (including 2.3.1) as well as copying over the d3d12.dll
from proton (current proton experimental, 6.3-2, 5.13-6 and 5.0-10) with both
unpatched wine-staging 6.6 and 6.7.

The issue only occurs with 6.7. I followed Kron4ek's installation so there are
no third-party wrappers or dll's being loaded and deleted the prefix between
versions (thank god for unlimited fibre high speed internet). I have reported
the issue in the vkd3d-proton bug tracker as well.
