If I remember correctly, the easiest way to reproduce this bug is to walk up to a wall and use the "hide against the wall" key to cause garret to suck himself against the wall. When you do this the game limits your movement to the 180 degrees (or less, depending the wall) facing away from the wall (if I recall correctly, this was done properly); however, when you "unhide" from the wall you are still limited to those angles as if you were still against the wall.
