I did the retest and no such problem here. And when i don't use PlayOnLinux it
might be the reason, thus you are told, Linards, not to use POL.

Of course it could be even ATI (with most probability). So the conclusion for
you is to eliminate all the possible failures and use as simple test case as
possible, i.e. try to reproduce in clean wine environment without POL & etc.

Tested and works under:
 * wine-1.1.42 and wine-1.2-rc2-197-ge1fd439 
 * nvidia GT240 v195.36.24
 * Debian Lenny 32bit
