BUT I noticed something strange - non-English characters, like "ł", "ś", ć" were displayed properly. I've attached two screenshots while running with Polish and English version of translations and also log from the terminal.
this might be a good hint for finding the problem
To my experience, the problem occurred because Qt could not locate the _exact_ font used by the application, and could not provide a substitution.
I.e., using 'Verdana' or 'Arial' on a system, which only had 'Lucida Sans' installed, was showing up empty space within the text inside Qt applications, while other applications behaved fine.
Adding few lines inside Qt source code to provide an explicit substitution for the fonts, made all the text appear properly.
It's hard to say if it is a Qt or a Wine problem, but the fact is that it worked with some of the previous Wine builds at some time, using the same Qt version.
