As I said earlier the bug is the same on several machines I tested, I'm simply
curently testing on a VM (because I know it's the same on a real machine) :
here's an example of REAL computer I've tried this game with :

Nvidia 8800GTS 320 + Core 2 Duo 6800 + 2 Go RAM (DDR2)

I've also had the very same texture bug with an AMD 4200+ CPU and ATI 3650 HD
Radeon

So it's not only happening in VM but also on real machine

all those tests were run with ubuntu jaunty
