--- Comment #6 from Ker noa blue-t@web.de --- the patch increased the version of internet explorer that is reported to the Wildstar Installer, but that only fixes the "your browser is too old" popup.
You could as well modify the value with regedit to let's say 8.0 and the launcher would still crash as you can see in the attached logfile
